Vector Moving

This company is abusive in its ways. They delivered extremely poor service. They did not show up on time per our contract, days late actually. They forced me to pay the remaining balance under duress days before the rest of my items actually arrived. I was promised a credit but they have been radio silent on answering emails (over 20) and MGMT refuses to speak over the phone. They didn't even respond to the BBB complaint submitted, I can only imagine because they didn't want to lie in writing and they had no argument for my complaint. Below is the email I have been requesting they answer for months and over dozens of emails.

All,

The purpose of this email is to inform Vector Moving of the following:

1.) Obtain contact information (email and phone) for the Vector Moving Supervisor or President in charge (Johnny or otherwise). Repeated requests for contact information have not been fully addressed.

2.) Inform Vector Moving that I reluctantly signed the agreement and paid the remaining balance under duress. Contradictory to information communicated at the time of booking, I was told by the subcontractor delivering part of my belongings that he was not able to unload the truck without full payment as per his orders from Vector Moving.

3.) Request a full refund in the amount of $5,850.00, not including the damages.

4.) Notify Vector Moving that our own belongings (bedding) were used by the movers to wrap furniture and electronics of ours without our consent.

a. A décor rug was used to wrap wooden furniture

b. A bedspread was used to wrap a floor mirror

c. A TV was not packed in a TV box; it was thrown into a box surrounded by bedding and the box was not closed

I worked with Vector Moving and I have to say I am so impressed with this company. We had a small move, but we also had some very heavy and difficult pieces to be brought up stairs. The movers were friendly and courteous and they never gave up when things got difficult for them. There were no hidden fees and everything was up front and honest. I am so happy we found this company.
Moving is very stressful and they really made things easy for us.

The movers were on time, friendly and efficient. They cared for our belongings and ensured that nothing was damaged during the move. Their can-do attitude really kept everyone's moral up throughout the day. Considering the amount of items that needed to be moved and the work that the movers put in, the service was fairly affordable. I would highly recommend Vector Moving and a Truck for anyone who needs to move any items. My only piece of feedback is for the office staff: When scheduling the service I had told them how much needed to be moved and the office recommended a certain size truck, however the movers were surprised and said they should have sent a bigger truck. Therefore we had to make 2 trips back and forth which was more time and cost us more money than we had originally planned.

This was far and away the most effective moving service I've ever had. whereas trying to find movers I stumbled across this web site. I'd been calling around and getting nowhere for the type of service I needed. I decided to call Vector Moving and it turned out to be the best decision I ever made. scheduling was a breeze and the customer service was very nice. When the guys arrived I could not have asked for a better group of movers.

They were very polite, efficient, and courteous. Do yourself a favor and decision these guys or the corporate for your space before you decision anyone else. Best expertise ever, thanks guys and that I wont hesitate to decision if I ever want your service once more.

I can’t say enough good things about Vector moving. Friends had recommended them to me and I am so glad I went with them! Tanya keeps you in the loop via e-mail leading up to the move and if you have any question or concerns she is always there to answer your questions! On the day of the move Nikita and his two were amazing! They promptly arrived at my apartment in Hoboken during the estimated schedule arrival time. They send you a text and you have a live map of where your truck is the whole way! Nikita came up first to talk about everything and to make sure they gave me any additional charges that might incur upfront based on what I had to move before they started working. My quote was right on point so no surprise charges! He was super honest about everything and I really appreciated that! He and his crew of 2 other guys were efficient and incredibly professional. They wrapped everything so carefully and were super gentle with the surrounding moving in and out of both residences. In total the move took 3 hrs., including the travel time. They were quick and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to move! Thanks again! I will be sure to continue recommending them to anyone looking to move especially in and out of Hoboken or anywhere for that matter!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $600

This was an A++ move experience across the board. They moved me on a last minute notice , as my movers canceled on me on the day of the move.. I visited their website and requested a free online estimate, and they promptly contacted me and helped with the cost calculation for the move. Since I booked the service on the same day, they provided me with Wardrobe Boxes for clothing as a nice bonus. They arrived right on time and kept me updated throughout the day, this allowed me to run my own errands.. They placed the boxes in the right rooms and assembled the furniture back. They truly took care of me during the move and I could not feel more confident. Everything went smoothly, and the team was very friendly. Thank you so much for your help.
